Break down the target into clear goals 3. Clear allostatic load: Get 7-9 hours of sleep and be physically recovered. 4. Clear cognitive load: make all minor decisions the day before. Clear all other open tasks, no open loops. Organize our office ahead of time. 5. Flow Fortress: No phone, no notifications at all, use app and site blockers on your computer, no not let ideas distract you. Use your pocket notebook. 6. Drop into flow within 90 seconds of waking up. 7. 1-2 hour "flow" blocks that your treat as an event. Use a physical trigger to enter the block, such as putting on headphones. - I can feel myself slipping back into old habits.
